Loving it

Well, minus a couple of doors and a few feet of trim, we are finished. It is so wonderful! I absolutely love the way things turned out. Troy's cousin is going to help me make a frame for the picture that I want to hang, and we do have some touch ups, but it is livable. It looks so much bigger and it is lovely. The other night Troy's bro and Adam stopped by to take a peek...we borrowed Ryan for a couple/three hours and picked his brain with out wiring problem. If you turned on one light, the other wouldn't work. Now, after much trial and error, all the switches work. come to find out, the way they were wired was a huge fire hazard. I am glad that is fixed! Today my goal is to do laundry and to vacuum all the yucky dust from downstairs. It is a real mess down there, but with a little elbow grease and some time, it will be gleaming just like upstairs. The kids love having the house put back together and we can walk around without stumbling around! I really enjoy getting up in the middle of the night and going to the bathroom without hitting my toe on boxes and totes of items. It is wonderful. We are ready for visitors, just please remove your shoes upon entering! :) Troy even asked the Qwest guy the other day to remove his shoes! If planning a visit, please keep in mind that we have trim left to be put up and a couple of items that need to be redecorated with. But come on over and visit for a moment!
